Frequently Asked Questions

Who will 'host' my website?

We will! Hosting means storing all of your website information (pictures and text) on a computer server, so that whenever someone types in your website address, those files and pictures are accessible 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Hosting is a necessary function of every website, and is included as an integral part of your monthly service.

How many pages does my website include?

All websites include at least 9 pages — Our 8 Standard pages and your choice of one of our Optional pages.

Additional pages are available based on the package that you choose.

How long will it take to build my website?

Once we have your photos, logo, park map, service agreement and completed Park Info Form in hand, we’ll have your new website designed, coded, and ready for your review and launch in 30 days or less.

Do you handle the website software updates?

Yes! That’s all included in your monthly service.

We’ll regularly scan your website to ensure it stays safe from malware and other threats, and we’ll make sure that the back end software that powers your website is kept up-to-date.

How are minor website edits or updates handled?

Just drop us an email and we’ll get right on it.

Your service agreement with us includes up to a half hour of support work (content changes, updates, photos, etc) per month, which we’ve found to be more than enough to take care of everything typically needed to keep your website information up-to-date.

Are extra pages or additional functionality available?

We can add additional pages or special functionality to your site on an as-needed basis, and are always happy to discuss options and costs for whatever you have in mind.

Will I own my domain?

Yes. While managing your domain at our registrar enables us to manage your website for you, you will always be the legal owner of your domain.

Is Search Engine Optimization (SEO) included?

Absolutely! Unlike many web designers who charge extra for optimizing your site for searches, we include it in all of our web design packages.

Because… seriously… what’s the point of designing a website if no one is ever going to find it?

Do I need to provide my own domain/ URL /website address?

If you already own a domain that you’d like to use for your park & new website, we’ll coordinate with you to transfer it to our registrar so that we can manage everything for you going forward.

If you don’t already own one, we will help you select the best domain/URL for your park.

The ongoing cost of the domain is included in your monthly service, so there’s nothing extra to pay.

What do I need to provide to get started?

We’ll need you to provide:

  • Photos of your park
  • A digital copy of any logo
  • Your park map
  • A signed copy of our monthly service agreement.
  • Complete our Park Information Form so that we have complete details about your property

If you need a recommendation for a logo or park map designer we’re happy to help.

A local real estate photographer is generally the best choice for photos, and usually quite modestly priced.

Do I own the graphics and content that were created for my website?

Any photos, logo, park map, or other material that you provide to us belongs to you, of course. All other website elements and code that we create are leased. Parks are granted the right to use the website we create as long as they remain customers.

Which forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

Whichever you choose, we’ll automatically charge your service fee on the first of each month.
